G2 vs G3 personal observations..

In my context as to which it was put it was neither swearing nor can it be perceived as offensive and or threatening .

Please feel free to do as you will.

But I make my stance clear.

I would never bully or intimidate or threat be it on forums or any other social media

So excuse me and please get your facts straight before having a pop.

I can see more intimidation in your reply to myself.

Well I walked round your filters to show the words I used. The context in which it was used I personally as an intelligent man do not perceive that as an act of intimidation or threatening behaviour or demeaning or anything otherwise.

But I do see your one point in that all ages use these forums.

So in that aspect alone.

I apologise and I won't use any words that can be perceived as swearing.

By the way the b word is not technically a swear word it refers to a female dog.

Just so you know if you didn't already, we all know education is important right.

But in my context I wasn't being rude or abusive as stated and that was my point.

Or atleast from my perspective, we all see things differently.

Again I will abide by forum rules and regulations.

And offer my sincere apologies if anyone reading was affected and or offended.

Thanks

Graeme

Can I ask any of you how strong the vibration is on your phones when in "vibrate" mode? I am asking because I can't even hear or feel the vibration while at my desk and I even created my own vibration. I am wondering if I should return the phone for another.

You can edit strength and pattern of vibration is sound

My g3 is an improvement over my g2 in:
Better signal,and call quality
Bluetooth is much much more stable and automatic
WiFi is much better and steady
The speaker kills the g2
The size seems the same, but .3 inch more screen
The display is noticeably clearer
There is a friggin sd card now.
I can replace the battery also.
I find less lag than my g2
I miss my old drop down brightness bar. That's it. The g3 is a substantial upgrade over my g2 which I loved.

Well, I did not get better signal quality. In fact, the phone went into 3G at my house last night, which is not good. I have had a phone that couldn't stay in 4G at home, so I'll be monitoring this. If it continues, back to the store it'll go.

For someone on a budget I'm not sure the G3 is a better choice at $199 than the G2 @ Free on contract. It is definitely getting into size creep (just made that up :) where its just a little bit bigger than the G2 which a just a little bit bigger than my GS3 (which I thought was huge at the time moving up from a Droid Inc 2). After spending a year with my G2 (and with an upgrade available) I decided to pass on the G3 mainly because the G2 hit my limit on size (which is at my limit and would actually like to go a little smaller without losing capability or screen quality) on size. My G2 still takes excellent pictures, the 32 GB (24 GB available after OS/preinstalled apps) is plenty for my needs, the cell and data radios have been excellent (at least a full order of magnitude better than my GS3), the Bluetooth and WiFi are also very good, and I am able to handle (for most things) it with one hand. The G2 will remain very competitive a year from now as I look at the next generation (possibly 64 bit 810) of phones with maybe some new battery tech and VoLTE standard (maybe Verizon will respond to TMo and roll it out this year). IN the 5" screen size we have reached the limit of quality for these screens and faster CPUs/GPUs will only be needed for games. Will be very happy for another year (or more) with my G2. For all of you enjoying your G3s, Congratulations, as I'm sure it is another great phone from LG. One thing I pray for is for LG to bring the G3 UI to the G2 and also that it gets a timely upgrade to L (whenever it is released)>
