G3 Is it worth to buy is or not ?

Ugh that image does look like the lens is smudged...

The camera on the G3 is pretty good to me, but it's still not as great as my 1520 shooter snapper was.

Although the G3 is nicer in a number of other ways. In loving this 2k display.

Yeah, i think something weird happened to lens, i don't think the G3 takes awful pics.... Off curse it's not as great as the 1520, since nothing else comes close to Lumia photo quality. Anyway for me at least, the G3 with 3gb ram and the Moto X 2014 are the best options i could find in my country, so i chose the G3 because of the camera, display, size and it has 3gb of ram. What do you think (?) is the G3 the best option or i should check the Moto X 2014 too ?

Kinda sorry I got it. Chiefly, the battery life is awful and the default camera app doesn't work well in low light.
I got it on a carrier plan at a discount because it's a previous gen phone , the current gen flagships are way too expensive.

The tech specs are great for sure, but it's not very practical to use. I got it for the camera. If you are photographing faces in a dark club scene, the flash is painfully blinding (seriously) and too slow overall. In better light it's actually pretty fast.
The screen is good but you don't need that many pixels, 1920x will do at this display size. And save on battery life.

If it's cheap (eg Black Friday sale) then go for it. I paid too much for mine, or paid for features I'm never going to use. And a default camera app which is inflexible and not optimized.

Ι couldn't resist, so i ordered the G3 today.... i'll have it tomorrow and i'll share my first impressions.

I got a Lg3 about four months ago and I think it's a great phone. Yes there are better phones now, but you'll pay top dollar for those. The screen is the best part and the worst part rolled in one. You definitely have to manage the brightness 🔆 level of the phone to get the most out of the battery. I normally get between 3-4 1/2 hours on screen time. Check out some of the info on this site, XDA, YouTube about how to get the most out of this phone and I think you'll love it also.

G3 D850

I've had the G3 for a year. Camera is still great, it runs everything I need it to. Best thing you can do is go to xda and find out the tricks for your model. But its a great phone.

I must be very old school, I can't understand anything I read on the xda site. I am best to leave it alone.

Having said that, I have the iPhone 6, missed having an android and found a great buy on manufacturer refurbished G3's. Absolutely love this phone! So much more enjoyable than the ios with the silly grade school tiles.

I used to have the iPhone 5.... i got bored within a month and sold it, (i had the Xperia Z, but it doesn't count) now i'm happy with my G3, since it has anything i want.

Off topic, there is a problem with my g3's screen as it does look as good as the one in the store. I researched this and found out the g3 has variants in the display manufacturing.
I really want to refund it now but I've had it for 6 months. Will Amazon allow this or not?
