G3 vs V20

My T-Mobile rooted LG g3( running 8.1) sounds louder and bettef than my Sprint LG v20 when playing music.
I was surprised at this.

Take off the screen filter over the speaker. it's probably blocked.

I don't see a filter

If you take off the battery cover, at the very bottom there are 4 screws. You take those off and pop off the bottom plastic piece. Remove or clean the plastic grille.

Suggest you look at some videos before attempting though.
