G4 hint of the day: Use Nova launcher and still use "double tap to sleep"

I have LG G4 and Nova Prime. I can't figure out how to keep my Status Bar from hiding on my home screens. I have to pull down from the top to view it. Please help!

Check under-> Nova setting - >look & feel, to make sure the option isn't chosen to hide the notification bar.

Another option on top of this is double tap home for camera. I use Home2 Shortcut for this.

Thanks, works perfectly. I was double clicking the status bar.
