G4 or Nexus 6

Why the white version versus the other options? I was considering white as all my phones have always been dark, any other reason?

I didn't plan on liking DBrand skins but I do and the silver trim of the white version is better looking with a Bamboo or wood skin than the bluish trim of the Blue version. The trim gives it a better look all around IMO.

Enjoy! Dont forget if you're gonna root to unlock the bootloader right away.

I'm still torn between these two as well.

Leaning toward G4, I wish I could do pure android but don't want to buy a phone that's already eight months old when I have to lock into it for two years. Currently on galaxy note 3 on Sprint but switching to Verizon. ps, touch wiz blows!

i would say go with nexus 6. That is the phone i use as my daily driver. and its amazing. Pure android is amazing animal compare to touch wiz UI or HTC sense, or LG UI and will be lag free. Just think of it this way you have the latest update every time it is released. overall its the best phone in the world if you dont believe be a ask Jerry Hildebrand.

I have the nexus 6. I really like the phone but battery life could be greatly improved. I am looking to see if the g4 is any better. :-) probably not though. But also the g4 has a fantastic camera. I remember the g3 had an awesome one too... So that's also in its favor. Hmm. I might just try it out. :-)

I just intended to try the G4 myself coming from a Nexus 6 and ended up keeping it. I was surprised too!

Nexus because only nexus phones get android updates as soon as the are released and and supports as much android version as their hardware supports

I love my nexus 6, that large display and front facing speakers are awesome. Once I got used to the size, I could never go back to even a 5.5 inch phone.
Even the Note 4 seems like a smaller phone after using the nexus 6. Easy as heck to root and rom. Battery life is amazing with many custom roms. However if you prefer smaller phones, the Nexus is not for you. The s6 and M8 are great phones but feel like toys after using the N6

Of course G4...Nexus 6 has a Snapdragon 805 processor, which isn't really that capable of handling a 2K display
