I'm at 118dbm in my home, 4g comes and goes. I haven't checked what it is in town

What speeds are you getting? At 118dbm, download speeds are still decent for me. Upload is a bit low.

Is this your first LG device? If not, I'd be real interested in your previous devices. I'm finding my G2 maintains 4G LTE longer than any other phone I've ever used including my iPhone 6 Plus and my LG G3. I didn't get the Verizon G4 because of the signal on my G3.

Is higher or lower dbm better? Never untold what the levels meant.

I had a galaxy s4 than a iPhone 5c before the g4 and they both got great signal
I bought the lg g4 cause that's all I heated how good it is plus I heated the f3 has great signal
Maybe I should of got the n6

Here is what has been found with my lg g4, I apologize for the fact that I am not tech savvy at all , but will offer this. I signed up for verizon edge on June 17 with the purchase of lg g4. right out of the box the phone would drop calls, and have terrible signal issues, my brothers phone would read 2 bars of 4g lte and i would only have 1 bar of 3g. and these phone were sitting side by side. Long story short, sent phone not LG, and they found that the "mother board" had a crack in it. Obviously a manufacturing problem, but they wont admit it. They "LG" would not warranty the fix and did not repair. So called verizon and they are sending a refurbished phone. Not Happy. I don't know how to attach the picture they sent me or else i would. I don't know if this is the culprit for all of us, but you may want to check....

If you bought it from Costco then they will exchange the phone for a new one (same model) within 90 days

unfortunately I didn't. Bought it straight from the verizon store. I'm just wondering if there is a problem and no one is taking blame, or selling bad phones???

I had the Droid turbo on Verizon and even with 4G LTE had HORRIBLE coverage, couldn't use it with their AC. Had to get a NE. Speeds were terrible. Switched to AT&T with the G4 and granted it's 4G, not LTE, but here the speeds do circles around Verizons LTE!!! So something has got to be up with Verizon. Other people are also claiming to be getting terrible coverage/speeds/reception with Verizon. LG G4 Getting -83 dBm and 15 asu; Verizon I can remember the dBm was -112.
