Got a notification this am for a software update. 400± mb. Anyone know what it is?

mine updated a day ago. I don't see much of a change and it's still 6.0 for me and not the 6.0.1 that i want

Mine updated last night to 26A. According to Verizon, this update "gives you the most up-to-date android security patch". I'm not noticing any other changes.

The update crashed my phone. It wont go past the LG boot screen. I suggest making sure all your stuff is backed up before doing the upgrade.

I saw the update as well (Verizon). I'm going to defer it to tomorrow.

Since I did this latest update I can't change permissions, upload pictures among some other things. Its causing me a lot of trouble. I keep getting a popup saying screen overlay detected and to turn it off. It takes you to the settings but no matter what I do nothing changes. Its all very vague. It's just a loop accomplishing nothing. I can't change any permissions at all. If anyone knows of a fix please share. I've tried a few suggestions for nexus that I found but no success.

I just spent 3 hours at Verizon because of this exact same issue! The guy recognized that I had clean master app on my phone. He deleted it and immediately the issue was cleared up. He said that these cleaner apps sit and fester and down the road become a virus. I wonder if the update and the cleaner app together caused this issue on my phone. If you have any apps that say they are a "cleaner" delete them, turn your phone off and on and then see if you can use your apps giving you trouble. Hope this helps. I have been so frustrated since Friday.

I did the update this weekend, and now my screen no longer times out, no matter what I have it set to. This is for both the lock screen and the home screen. I need to manually turn the phone off, either by pressing the power button, or using the double-tap-to-sleep feature. Otherwise, the phone's screen will just sit there glowing away.....

Happened to me as well. . I had to factory data reset to make it go away.

Anyone else having issues or success with this update. I haven't installed it yet cause I don't wanna screw up my phone, I just replaced it a couple of months ago cause it died and I don't wanna go through that again. Thanks

This just installed yesterday on my Phone from T-mobile finally and no problems to report.
