G5 heating issue?

Hey, so I've had my G5 for maybe 2 weeks now. It seems that with some moderate use (texts, facebook, some online browsing)the phone heats up quite a fair bit. Another example is I just had about 13 app updates today on the Google play store, I clicked "update all" as I usually do. And within a minute or two the phone got incredibly warm. I so far have not had it shut down or anything. but I'm concerned about it. I upgraded to the G5 from the G3 and I don't recall the G3 getting this warm on a regular basis (maybe while using data) but not like this. Anyway, just wanted some input on the matter.

I can't say for sure but mine heats up from time to time but how can we help you if we aren't actually holding the phone?

If you're that concerned maybe you should go back to the store and see what they say.

Or... Find someone else that has a G5 and do a comparison test.

Like I said, mine heats up but not overly.

Bottom line is you gotta pinpoint which app or apps are running causing the issue.

Mine heats up just when i am using it outside under the sund with full brightness.

Well for example I'm using the phone currently. Just using chrome to read an article. The phone was up to 36 degrees celsius (using CPU temp app) the phone is pretty darn warm. Also I'm using wifi not my data. I'm not sure if that's maybe too hot? I don't know what would be deemed a hot running temperature for this phone?

u using case for phone?

I've had heating issues where it gets really hot and the battery dies very quickly. Verizon ordered me a replacement. It's working much better. Same apps on both phones.
