Hi, new user here. I have long been a fan of LG's products, especially their phones. My first cell phone (a flip "feature" phone) was LG and my current phone is a G3.
While I'm still immensely happy with my G3, all of the news coming out about the G5 has my intrigued. The modular nature of the phone, while seeming gimmicky, could really play into the way I use my phone.
That being said, I wonder how cases will work with this modular functionality. The Trident and other cases that were anounced before the phone anouncement look like typical cases that encapsulate the phone and wouldn't allow the bottom portion of the phone to be removed without taking the whole case off. This design obviously limits the utility of the phone and is the main reason why I don't switch out my current battery very often despite the phone's short battery life and having an extra on hand.
Have there been any whispers of cases that will work with the modular functionality of the phone?
