G6 still worth it now?

Hey everyone.

Small update. So I haven't been able to buy it yet, haven't been to a store that stocks it (except the white model, which I don't want). After handling it I thought it was a bit too large for me. One handed usability is important and I didn't feel like I had a secure grip on it when texting one handed, so the possibility of dropping it when someone bumps me (in a store, in public transport, etc.) seems high.

So I started having second thoughts about this :D. Will visit another phone store tomorrow and see what they have. May actually cave in and just get an iPhone SE to replace my current 5s, but I'd really love an Android this time. So still torn between these two.
Here is what I would look into if you're looking for a small one handed device.

Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact - Factory Unlocked Phone - 4.6" Screen - 32GB - Black (U.S. Warranty) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P5FMG...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6063831

Pixel 2 https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...om/us/category/phones?hl=en-US&token=YU6IhHlS

Moto G Plus (5th Generation) - Lunar Gray - 32 GB - Unlocked https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N5MEKS...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6063831

My thoughts.

Sony has a great phone, but in US fingerprint scanner is disabled. There are hacks to get it working, but it's a hassle.

Pixel is the best, but its expensive.

Moto G Plus is a bit bigger, 5.2 inch screen, but still a half inch smaller than G6. Very affordable, especially if you don't mind Amazon ads, and has a great stock Android experience.

EDIT: Just realized Amazon has a deal going that makes the regular g plus cheaper than the one with Amazon ads.

Hey guys. So I guess old habits die hard, I did end up actually getting a 64 GB SE. Quite happy with it so far and transition was very smooth via iCloud restore, so I've got all my apps, contacts and even game highscores. Convenient.

Still the G6 is like that girl you never asked out, I keep wondering "what if". I think I'll be looking at it again in a couple of months. The prices will definitely be even friendlier, and I just hope that it won't become too dated too soon.

Thanks again for everyone's input, this has been very helpful in forming my decision! May still do - who knows what the future holds :)

The LG G6 is still in the back of my mind as well as far as what phone to buy next - it's a really awesome device. Enjoy your SE!

Sprint version will be a Best Buy Black Friday deal for like $4.99 a month for 24 months. But I would say the Snapdragon 835 is a nice upgrade from the 820 or 821. Still a killer price though.
