G6 water resistance = terrible loud speaker quality?

The S7 had a horrible built in speaker, very low quality sound. I watch a lot of YouTube and would like decent speakers. Do you guys think the G6 with the new water proofing feature will lower the speaker quality?

It probably will only have a just okay speaker. I'm fine with that though. Water resistance is more important to me than speaker quality.

It won't be a stereo speaker -- it mostly will just be the average sounding one.

iPhone 7 and 7 plus speakers are great and they do have water resistant. So it's possible, I'm disappointed that more OEM are not using the dual speaker setup like on HTC, iPhone 7 and few other Android phones.

I get that its important to some people, but I've only ever lost one phone to water damage and because I was in a boat that capsized and I was in the water for 20 minutes until rescued.

I never needed to use my car insurance until that one time I got in a car accident, and then I was glad I had it.

The same applies to water resistance on a cell phone.

I forgot to add to that was once in 22 years about 5 or 6 years ago. I actually added the insurance after the accident because was Verizon's policy was 30 days after purchase and they didn't care. I have not bought insurance on the last few phones.
So the bottom line for me is I prefer my removable battery if I play the odds of how many phones I've drowned. Never cracked a screen either.

Not really and I have to have a Quad DAC. Very happy with what I have
