G7 Not in Local VZ Stores

I just did a check of all the local stores in the Pittsburgh area to see if any of them had a G7 in stock. They were supposed to be available in stores on 6/1. None of the stores in this area have a G7.
I have a G7 but they had to order it for me, business account. They had no cases or screen protectors either when I got mine.
If they say available in stores 6/1, it is now the 13th, why is it not readily available?

I did not see any available in the NYC area either. Got mine at Best Buy after seeing online it was in stock. I went to store and they didn't know it was out, didn't know it was on sale, and they only had TWO I'm stock. And it took about 15 minutes for him to find them. Needless to say there were no accessories available in store.

Did they at least have a display set up or any advertising of it in the store? LG has been notorious for not sending out phones or having last year's model still on display instead of the new one. I might pick up the red one this weekend from T-Mobile though.

Best buy did not. And I began noticing most Verizon stores seem to only show iPhones and Samsung these days. Both of which I try to stay away from.

I wonder if it's the retail stores or LG to blame. Probably a little of both. But I have at least seen a commercial for the G7 on TV and that's a good sign. T-Mobile has dedicated sections for the G7 and in two colors which I don't think has ever happened either.

My friend is in a similar boat, he wants a new phone and his local Verizon people were trying to sell him a G6! I told him that it was LAST years model, and he should consider, the Pixel2/Pixel 2 XL first OR maybe the V30. He really liked the V30 so he might go that route.

The V30 is the way to go if he has to buy it locally. I got mine by calling Verizon's customer service line and they sent it to me at no charge for shipping and waived the activation fee.

Yea they seem to have a hot nut for selling iPhones and Galaxy's. Other phones you got to twist their arm! lol
