Can you check to see if the Verizon has LG Backup?

On my H815 I loved the clear screen protector. In fact I never took it off! On the H811 T-Mobile version the decent plastic protector is identical - except printed on like the Verison, thus making the setup and a day of use with the protector frustrating to say the least!

Yes it has lg backup. It isn't a separate app like on the h815, but it is built into the settings. Also, When you first setup the phone, it will ask you to tap another phone if you want to restore. It works on non lg phones too like my s6e, though it probably doesn't do all the settings. Also do it over wifi, it got stuck for me doing it over 4GLTE

Now, for the persistent "Turn WiFi back on" notification when it's off - that's an impossible to get rid off Verizon feature, right, or am getting this one wrong too?

Not sure the specific issue, but there is still some lock screen customisation available

I think I confused it with the DNA again. Looks like G4 doesn't have the persistent Wifi notificaiton. Sorry for disinformation.

I wonder why vzw would disable that ?
As far is the FM radio , its been awhile since I had a phone that had that ,but I do kinda like it .

Those 2 things are about it that bugged me as to why vzw disabled them.

So SMart Settings actually works for yours? Only the headphones thing works for mine. The wifi one turning on when I get home never, ever works.

I'm now going to have to wait 5 days to find out.At least that's what it shows after set my home in Location>My Place .I changed "My Place" to work location on accident this afternoon :-[
I just switch it back today to my actual home,, once back home today. .So I should be able to tell Monday afternoon to see if WiFi's turns on by itself using Smart Settings.

Yes. We wouldn't know what Verizon disabled if it weren't for the unlocked version!

Yes, an International phone keeps all the features. Has to be an International one, not just an unlocked one.
That won't work on Verizon however, They (Verizon) will not allow a none Verizon phone on their network (with a couple of exceptions)

If /when there is a reliable root and maybe rom then you should be able to add back at least the software changes. Things like fm radio,though are hardware related so those won't work.

Has anyone figured out how to add/side load smart settings to the Verizon G4? IMHO, this is a glaring and unacceptable omission on Verizons part.

Hi all, so I just got the G4 a couple days ago and I love it. I love the remote feature, the camera, the overall software, and the general ease of use. However, as much as I love it the way I've received it, I am kinda bummed to know that I'm not getting the full experience. Most notably missing is the Smart Settings and Themes support (The 100 GB Drive would be nice too).
Will they eventually add these missing features? I can't imagine the omission of them is even legal.
