G8 ?

So i havent been around for some time i didnt like the g7
But g8 kinda catched my eyes. But i have to admit g6 almost 2 years with me it will be in 7th month the phone still rocks.
Still havent had any kind of issues with the g6 absolutly love the phone. Stil fluid but i dont know kinda like the g8 but only thing that messes me around is a bit too high price maybe.

Whats ur opinions ? U still like ur g6 if u still have it.
The phone still performs very well and maybe the real question is if upgrade is actually needed ?

I'm the exact same boat with my G6. Still snappy and I haven't had any issues. The only thing negative is that my battery capability has diminished somewhat over time. But, it's still very usable. Hard to give up this phone when it still does the job so well.

I'll definitely check out the G8 and Samsung S10 when they are introduced.

Same-o here..Good luck so far with G6 with no issues. But will look at G8 and Samsung 10e but not until they've been out for 5-6 months. One, for any issues that have poped up and two, price drops.

After reading the LG G8 and Samsung S10 recent announcements, I'm very underwhelmed by the G8. The updates to the G8 seem superficial compared to the S10. As such, I'm not considering an upgrade from my G6 to the G8, but possibly an upgrade to the S10 instead. Sorry LG.

Honestly the only thing i like about S10 series is the fact how good they got rid off notch, and honestly thats the only thing.

And here in europe we dont get versions with snapdragon so zhats quite a big - to for such an expensive phone.

I dont know, the only thing i dont like about G8 is the notch, i mean i never liked notch and who ever thoguht that that thing a great idea more screen, space. Well it isnt the phones look stupid with that hole in the screen. And im glad to see notch is slowly going to history useless, stupid feature.

I too have a G6, for 2 years now. It still works fine, but this would be a good upgrade for me. I had a G2, G4, and now the G6, so I have been a LG fan for sometime. If I already had the G7, I wouldn't even consider the G8 as it is just a minor upgrade from that. I am not a Samsung fan, although some day in the future I may not have a choice about that. At any rate, as I said, my G6 still works for me, but I would strongly consider the G8 if the price is low enough as it might be a good step up from the G6. I will wait until it is in the stores (I am one who likes to try it in my hand before deciding) and see what the price ends up being. There is no rush.

Loving the G7 so of course not thinking about the G8. Have no issues with the notch not sure why people hate it so much. Will wait for the G9 or G10 not a fan of the Samsung phones, at least the ones that have been released to date

I wonder how long it will be before they announce "availability" and price, then how long after that before it is actually delivered. I am guessing several months before we actually can see these. As much as I am not a Samsung fan, they do marketing right. They announced the S10 at MWC, pre orders were right after that, and people will start receiving them next week. The LG Marketing gang is always half asleep.

I dont as far as i can see huaweis phones will have notch again, lg's, after 4 iphones im enough with apple.

And basicly there's nothing left samsung i dont like neither want.
Htc, sony are part of history for me just like nokia.

I dont know i mean the g6 is working awesome, but these new phones thst notch i just cant look at that crap they put in the middle of the screen i just cant.

I've always wanted the G6 but never got it. My husband has the G7 ThinQ and loves it! I too am pretty impressed with it. The G8 sounds pretty awesome - in definitely checking it out when I see it in the stores! The last LG phone I had was the LG G3 and I would love to have an LG phone again. I think some more unboxing and review videos would help me form a more well-rounded opinion.

Haven't used the G8 yet since I just ordered Friday. From what I've read you can mask the notch in settings. It just adds a black bar to the top that's the width of the notch, so it looks like a top bezel.

I think il be skiping the g8, im not impressed again with lg. It's just sad how they lost their way. Was thinking of getting the S10 instead but here in EU we get exynos versions so no thanks. Samsung also sucks, so basicly all i had left was huawei and well gonna purchase it next month. Maybe in some future il get again lg would love to. G6 still rocking with me but from the next month it will be my moms phone.

I'm going to return my. After playing for couple days, LG is falling behind. Some of the keys that get to me.

1. Lack software polished. LG UI skin over Android P. Still looks the same on all LG series

The lagging is there after using S10 for awhile.

2. The design is great but you can feel vibration on the back while watching video.

3. The phone is curved so don't expect temper glass support.

I give LG the support for keeping headphones jack and DAC.

You can return it ? Wow, here in eu if u get broken phone right from the box u have to fight with them ti give you the new phone and not to fix that new broken one. EU sucks for smartphones they are too expensive.

Quad dac, and headphone jack yeah. But screen to body ratio that stupid notch. I like lgs software and skin. I hate huaweis emui and they swift crap keyboard. But LG doesnt seem to listen ti the people. When i got the G6 it felt like i was getting the outdsted phone with last years chipset. Now again if i buy him il be getting outdated phone. For few bucks more i get more camera, better batery, notchless phone and better screen to body ratio so why G8 ?

I am sorry i love lg but heh gonna try the p30 pro so maybe after 2-3 years will see whats lg gonna make.

Hi morty how are you ? What are you rocking currently ? Il be getting the p30 pro, because samsung decided that eu doesnt deserve snapdragon version of their s10 so they can go f*** themselfs , lg disapointed me again. I dont use iphone for years. So only logical phone for me is p30 pro.

Was thinking of getting cheaper p30 but flagship with that price that doesnt have OIS on main camera no thanks.
