Yesterday my tablet updated the software, once i installed the update the nature of the tablet has completly changed (for the worse) Now there are a number of things i can no longer do, the main one being can no longer multitask, the split screen option has vanished. Which is a pain has this is one of the main reasons i chose the samsung. Has any one else had this problem amd how do we rectify it.

If you're in Jelly Bean update, it's still there, just a little different. If you're in an app, you'll see a rectangle at the top right, say in the Browser, and click that. If just one app opens in a small window and you want to have the split screen to open with two apps, there is a bar on the bottom and on the far Left side, you'll have the option to Cascade or multi - view or just show one app like it's probably doing now. Just click that on the bottom Left to toggle between the two ways of viewing.

No still not there! The rectangle at the top right of the screen is the thing that has vanished. I can open several 'windows' at the same time and cascade them but its still not the split screen option i had before. Its frustrating because samsung still advertise this as a unique feature of the galaxy note 10.1 i just hope they realise and bring in a 2nd update to rectiy, otherwise they have one unhappy customer. The feature was brilliant for doing research and making notes at the same time.

Its all clear now, what i thought was a bad update is actually brilliant, premium suite looks the business. Thanks very much!

So has any body in the US got the Jelly Bean Update? My fathers Galaxy Tab2 7 Inch got Jelly Bean last week.

I went over to XDA a few days ago and downloaded the U.S. JB. It's coming pre-installed on new U.S. Note 10.1s, so somebody over there just pulled a copy off a new 10.1, deodexed it, rooted it, and posted it up. It's working well so far!

I want to do this but I'm new to Android. Is there a step-by-step guide somewhere?
