Hi guys, I just ran into this anomaly, my Galaxy A7 (2018) SM-A750F/DS running Android-10 won't boot anymore. I tried booting it into "safe mode" by pressing the power button and then the volume-down button as soon as the Samsung logo appeared...nothing happened.

I also noticed that while it remains in this non-booting stasis, it is possible to put it back in an "off/unpowered" state by holding down both volume-down and power buttons for a few seconds while the phone is connected to a power source (such as my power bank shown on the left). It then shows the phone battery's recharging level.

Is my phone "bricked" (the impression I'm beginning to get) or is there another button-pressing sequence that can get it started in safe-mode that I can try? Thanks for your anticipated assistance.

I just tried the recovery function by using volume-up and power buttons to start the phone, but I'm not familiar with it. Any guide on how that can fix the phone?

That means losing everything in the phone...right (not a problem as I have everything backed up, but once flashed, the phone will pretty much have no value to me again)? Thanks for your insight

You can flash while using home csc that usually doesn't factory reset but during flashing process anything can happen just haven't experienced it when I flashed stock firmware (just leaving that disclaimer out there) I have lot of experience on Samsung and flashing US versions.

I'm definitely in uncharted territory; I haven't done a flash before. I'm trying to download Frija now but the site isn't responding.

I'm curious, do you know what the following options (in this menu) do?
> Wipe cache partition.
> Mount /system.

Also, will "Wipe data/factory reset" repair the OS by returning it to it's virgin state (as if the phone was flashed with a fresh copy of the OS)?

Wipe cache is for clearing out old accumulated files that doesn't mess user data but system

Mount/system if you have sd card can perform zip file update

Factory reset will reset the device to way it was when you got

Fresh install is flashing the stock firmware
