I'm getting a new one(AT&T version) for $275 from a local seller. Planning to unlock it and use it with T-mobile. Will it be worth it? I currently have a OnePlus and it is too big for me!

I think so, its quite a nice handset.

Agreed- they COULD/SHOULD have made Alpha with Note 4 Camera and the 2500 Mah Battery stock and SD Support.
My 850M Factory Unlocked menus are way scaled back touchwiz similar to Note 4 MENUS and cool black backgrounds.
The phone is super tough and 850M has a very full speaker compared to AT&T version.
IF they had made Alpha like a Note 4 Compact feature and Camera- wise ...would have been a huge hit .

BUT Samsung has a rule that Nothing beats the S Series except Note Series and held Alpha back in many ways- they used S5 Camera Sensor but dumbed it down to 12 megapixels so as not to step on S5 and beat it or equal it in performance except speed.
Could have been great instead of just very good.
