Galaxy Earbuds have shipped!

Meanwhile while waiting for my few Galaxy buds, ordered the new airpods that Apple announced today. My S10 going to be handy charging the airpods wirelessly

Got my buds last night and the left one disconnects every time I put either one in my ear. Ugh.
There has been 2 updates since I got mine. Check for updates and see if that helps. Both the updates mention bt connectivity.

Just checked my status, nothing shows on Samsung Promotion site. However, when i checked my "Fedex Delivery Manager" a label was created today with estimated delivery tomorrow

Can someone tell me what Fedex had listed for the weight of their Galaxy Buds? My package is listed at 0.2LB. Im trying to determine if this is my Galaxy Buds or the Free Wireless Charging Pad for my Galaxy Watch Active.

While I was at work, I tested these against my Bose Soundsport Free wireless headphones, and the AKG headphones that came in the box. Long story short:

Bose Soundsport > AKG from box > Galaxy Buds

I'm not saying the Galaxy Buds are bad, per se. To be fair I'm comparing them against headphones that are very good. The problem, I think, is that the dynamic range just isn't all there. If I use bass boost, I lose the higher tones. If I use dynamic, I'm cutting out sound on both ends of the spectrum. It seems like there's a tradeoff, whereas with my Bose headphones (and to a lesser extent the ones from the box) I'm getting the full range of sounds regardless. I should add that the AKG NC60 Wireless headphones that came as a gift with the S9+ are even better than the Bose headphones, because the sound quality is equal, and you get noise cancelling.

I tried going for my afternoon treadmill run with the Galaxy Buds, and the experience was pretty good because they are small and don't loosen the way my Bose headphones do (those things are huge by comparison). My only concern in terms of running is that if I go outdoors with just my Galaxy Watch, I'll have to putz around with the watch to change the volume. Or do some weird setup where the left earbud decrements the volume and the right one increments it. Aw well, minor inconvenience at best.

My impression after a few hours of use with these is that while I wouldn't pay $130 for them, they are very, very nice as a freebie gift. Definitely more convenient than any of the other headphones I have and I would definitely use them at work or when traveling.

What setting in the equalizer are you all using (if any)?

I thought that I would like Bass Boost, because I love a lot of bass... however, I didn't find it to have enough clarity, so I tried the Dynamic. I find this to have enough bass but to provide good clarity, with crisp sound. I personally am very happy with the sound. Granted, it's no where near the Sonos I have throughout my home, but it's as good as my AKG wired and wireless headphones.

Ah, so you'd put it on par with the headphones that come with the S10+? I didn't quite find that to be the case, but always good to get some other opinions.

Same. I started with base boost, but moved to dynamic.

One thing that I found did make a difference was changing out the earbud tips. I thought using smaller would seal the ear canal and give better sound for me, but it actually did the opposite. So I put the medium size back on. I could see that having the wrong size ear tips in might affect the sound quality.

Ordered two phones from Verizon. Both still the 25th of March and haven't shipped yet

Listening to Pandora on mine now.
My first Buds.
Gonna come in handy while working in the yard. No pesky wires.
Also, the price was right. ;)

Mav.

I seem to be in a unique situation... I ordered my phone with free buds on 2/23 from Samsung.com. (not a e-Certificate or anything like that) The buds said (and still say) "will ship with device". Well I already got the phone I think around 3/18. It still says "will ship with device" on the web site. The Samsung Shop app says back-ordered for the buds. I've never seen a will ship by date anywhere for them. It seems like everyone else at least has a timeline given to them. Anyone in a similar situation that had any progress beyond this point to give an indication of ship timeline?
