Hi everybody, I was out walking a couple of days ago and tried to check the time on my Galaxy Gear but the screen just showed a message "Data Sent" then went off. Now it will not turn on and doesn't seem to be charging. If I plug it into the USB 2.0 port on my desktop PC (this was suggested on Youtube) I get the "boom boom" sound indicating a device is connected but Windows tried and failed to install drivers.
My guess is that the battery is dead and I can buy a new one on Ebay for £7.49. Has anyone else had a similar problem and what was the outcome ?
BTW my phone is a Note 4.

Welcome to Android Central!

How old is the Galaxy Gear watch? Is it the original one? It could be the battery going bad, they usually last about a year.
