Galaxy Nexus: Confirmation of SD card slot?

Probably better to just piggyback a usb/sd card to the microUSB port when you need it. I haven't filled the 32GB on my Asus Transformer which is great for movies, nor my 32GB storage on the Thunderbolt which I use mostly for ROMs/Backups. Google Music's Cloud Storage really is great, but with carriers going to tiered data, again, isn't. I have unlimited, so I use a bunch of different clouds (the Sandisk is great, but needs some fine tuning to be faster on all phones).

lol.

Very interesting thread. There was tons of speculation about not having an SD card slot in the Galaxy Nexus. Here it is months later, and I thought someone would post how things actually turned out. Did anyone get a Galaxy Nexus? Did it come with an SD card slot or not?

I am posting to this thread, because I am only now thinking of getting a new phone when my current T-Mobile contract ends soon. It appears I am able to buy a sim unlocked Galaxy Nexus for GSM carriers (not CDMA, definitely not going with Verizion). But if it does not come with an SD card slot I feel like waiting for another phone that does.

As a developer I've grown accustom to using an SD card for flashing zip files in recovery. I never root my phone and install ROM manager from Android Market. But maybe that is what I will have to do if new phones don't come with an SD card slot.
