I've had the phone for 1 1/2 years now and thinking of getting rid of the phone.
The keyboard is driving me mad and I can't find a solution for this in the forums or Google search.
When typing a text and I receive another text or the person I'm texting replies the stupid keyboard suddenly minimize and types crap.
You have to be constantly maximizing the keyboard...God help you if the texts comes in rapidly you will never be able to type.
This happens a lot when my texting teenage kids.
My kids have S4, One X and Optimus G and don't have this problem.
Help!!! :mad::confused:

I use SwiftKey and the keyboard never minimizes unless you select the the down arrow.

Maybe it's your phone. I don't have that issue and I've never heard or seen anyone else having that issue so most likely it's your phone. Maybe your touchscreen is faulty.

Try another keyboard app. You don't have to use the stock one. Also, make sure your screen is clean. Clear cache in your keyboard app and force stop it and try again.

Mine doesn't do that with the stock app at all. I never have problems with my keyboard. I would suggest doing a back up and doing a factory reset. Seems like a hiccup in your system somewhere.
