Team BAMF recently all pitched in and bought one of our members a very expensive software package to help him out with day-to-day computing (he is having trouble with his wrists).

Thats what community should be about.

Not the drama that p3droid breeds. Just ignore him and he will go away. The phone will get here no soomer or later than p3droid says, and listening to him just makes people mad.

Lets get back to modding, developing, and hating on iPhones. Ignore p3droid and your life will be better for it.

Yea I want the GN, badly, but I'm not going to sit around for months and months.

On Friday the presser that announced this phone will have been a full month ago. It just makes everybody look stupid to have this huge press event and then not say a word for a full month. If the GN doesn't come out until December I may just get the Razr and wait for whatever quad core monster comes out next year.

Verizon is most likely just using that as an excuse. They always do so much testing yet their phones are even buggier than other carriers same versions. makes you wonder what verizon actually tests.

What sucks is that we're just getting strung along. If they came out and said 12/10 (or whatever) then people could just move on and do whatever they wanna do.

Serious question here, who exactly is P3Droid? Is he a PTB with Verizon Wireless or someone important that would be privy to this type of information? Or is he someone who simply starts rumors to get everyone going?

He is just a modder and developer. Doesn't really have any pull with verizon or others. I mean he had to wait in line to get a bionic so that shows how much pull he has lmao.

I have been just lurking reading all the info on this board and obviously this guy did something to piss everyone off here but if he has no pull etc how did he get not 1 but 2 nexus'? Im not trying to create trouble just am seriously curious???

He obviously knows someone on the inside. That doesn't make him 'someone'. It makes him lucky. Schoolteachers are not insiders.

Someone who works in the industry and is a first hand source (vs. third or fourth) is someone.

As for the reason he is disliked. I feel reasonably certain a google search can turn up why.

I take anything written by Android and Me with a grain of a salt, but if this proves to be true I think I might finally ditch Verizon for T-Mobile.

4G isn't that big of deal for me and I'm fed up with Verizon.

At one time I was a T-Mobile customer. You couldn't pay me to go back to them. Out of the major carriers, T-Mobile provided me with the worst coverage.

Same. The majority of a 100mile+ drive to my parents would be 0 coverage. No thanks. Plus there's a reason they have so much customer churn. Get what you pay for though.

I'd never go to TMo, but this would definitely piss me off. That said, if it's true, that may force Verizon's hand. Meaning, if TMo is set to announce on 11/16, it would seem to be in Verizon's best interest to announce theirs before and get it released. This would be particularly true if Verizon was looking at a silent launch with a same day or maybe a day or two press release notice.

I think the title of the article says it all: Crazy Speculation:...

I wish Verizon would just come out and say something.

They must be having a blast watching us running around with nothing but rumors.

Why keep your customer base and potential future customers in the dark for so long about a product WE KNOW exists?

I think at this point it's just becoming rude...bad business etiquette.

I'm tired of going off rumors while I watch all the other non-US based phone carriers communicate with their customers regarding this phone.

Look it's just a phone, but we are be strung along here and with rumors mind you. Pathetic.
