Tossing things up a bit. A bit more cluttered than I'm used to but considerably more functional for me.

Nova Launcher
From the top:
UCCW - Modified skin I found on XDA. I can upload later if anyone wants it)
Turtle Photoframe
Simple Calendar Widget

The icons are from here... (sqrcons).

This is awesome, very nice and very clean look. I dont like that you cant see the nav bar, as I like to know my signal strength, Download and upload notifications, facebook notifications, etc. but I LOVE that layout. Very nicely done.

PS: "UCCW - Modified skin I found on XDA. I can upload later if anyone wants it)" Yes, I want it :)

liquidsmooth v1.35
nova launcher
executive assistant / astrid for upper right tasks
glass widgets for lower left calendar
text icons made with Simple Text. Phone, Texts, and Gmail are apps; Media, News, Web, and Cameras are folders for fav apps; Reader and Twitter are WidgetPad shortcuts that pop up using Android Pro Widgets.

im not that happy with the tasks widget in terms of the look, hard to match colors and can't remove the task color bar.

So the web, twitter, gmail text icons intertwined into that honeycomb matrix are clickable I assume. And to get them slanted and folowing the lines there are awesome. I would ask you how you did that but I think my head would get sore. Looks like an involved process.

Great job.

thanks!
in terms of the icons slanting with the wallpaper, its actually all built into Simple Text. But actually getting the angles to match up took some trial and error. i had to play with Nova Launcher homepage grid size (7x7) to find enough spaces that made the theme work. there's probably a smarter way of doing it. but yes, all clickable, whether it leads to an app, folder, or pop up widget.

Thanks! I hid the status bar because I wanted to cram in six rows on the home screen without it looking too squeezed. I figure with notifications I really only care about them when I look at the lock screen to check out what came in. It's only hidden within Nova launcher, so I can see it everywhere else. Also with unread badges for sms, phone, and gmail, I have no trouble knowing there's an important notification while I'm on the home screen. :)

And here's the UCCW skin. Hopefully it works for you.

I ended up doing a very similar layout as yours, almost identical (hope you don't mind!). I kept my dock and status bar however and am using beautiful Widgets for the clock and the cobalt theme for aokp m5. I think this is the best layout I've had on my phone yet.

I put a hidden notification bar toggle button where the app drawer button was. When I get a led alert from lite flow I press that button to unhide the notification bar. I also have a hidden button to drop down the bar at any time too.
