I actually thought the screen looked great compared to my old DX2 and even holds it's own against it's larger sibs. I'm not really partial to one or the other but I actually like using physical qwerty's but that slider felt like a Sammy, parts wise.
I thought it felt alright, but now I'm second guessing myself. It definitely doesn't have the weight to the sliding function that the OG Droid had, but it felt solid to me...I think.
I was contemplating either D4, or the Stratosphere. But Samsung pretty much crapped spare parts into that phone. Aside from 4G and a keyboard, it doesn't offer much else.
I'm with you, like I said, it's not THAT bad. There is just a noticeable difference side by side with the Rezound. The original Incredible even seems a bit sharper.
Again, as far as keyboards, I truly believe I'd be slower on a physical keyboard. SwiftKey takes care of most errors, and with it's latest beta, the space bar is all but eliminated. Talk about fast!
I bought SwiftKey back during the 10 cent sales. It's a good app and everything, but I just can't get used to touchscreen typing. The keys are like 1/4 the width of a thumb, so my spelling is seriously thrown off.
Do you guys flip your phones into landscape mode every single time you text or what? Is that the key to successful touch typing?
