Galaxy Nexus update tomorrow? Rezound next?

I actually thought the screen looked great compared to my old DX2 and even holds it's own against it's larger sibs. I'm not really partial to one or the other but I actually like using physical qwerty's but that slider felt like a Sammy, parts wise.

I thought it felt alright, but now I'm second guessing myself. It definitely doesn't have the weight to the sliding function that the OG Droid had, but it felt solid to me...I think.
I was contemplating either D4, or the Stratosphere. But Samsung pretty much crapped spare parts into that phone. Aside from 4G and a keyboard, it doesn't offer much else.

I'm with you, like I said, it's not THAT bad. There is just a noticeable difference side by side with the Rezound. The original Incredible even seems a bit sharper.

Again, as far as keyboards, I truly believe I'd be slower on a physical keyboard. SwiftKey takes care of most errors, and with it's latest beta, the space bar is all but eliminated. Talk about fast!

I bought SwiftKey back during the 10 cent sales. It's a good app and everything, but I just can't get used to touchscreen typing. The keys are like 1/4 the width of a thumb, so my spelling is seriously thrown off.
Do you guys flip your phones into landscape mode every single time you text or what? Is that the key to successful touch typing?

No doubt landscape helps, but I type a lot in portrait still and do alright. I have small hands, that probably helps.

I think that the stock keyboard with swipe action is better than swiftly.
In fact, most apps out there to "improve" don't measure up to the stock apps (where they exist)... Exceptions for email (k9), video playback (i like mx) and the browser (anything).
Specifically the camera app beats the pants off anything else I've tried. Even the built in compass is better than most.

SwiftKey is the best for predictions. If I did not want predictions, I would use another keyboard like thumbkeyboard which has larger and easier to type keys.

Swiftkey rocks!

Texting in the car: Voice to text
Sitting at my desk: Landscape (two handed)
Doing anything else that requires my attention: Portrait (One handed and very slow)

And the exodus begins lol. Doesn't any poor soul keep thoer phones for two years anymore? I kept that stupid dare for three years:p

Sent from my ADR6425LVW

I keep my phones until they break.. this rezound should last me quite awhile... unless they come out with another killer phone like it...

Thumbkeyboard is the only qwerty that I could never use with putting myself in a straitjacket. Layout might be alright on a Note or SG3 but it was just felt bizarre on the Rez.
screen.

I like swiftkey...tried a bunch and this one is the one I keep going back to. I have to find a link to the beta for the new one....but I am at work and lazy
