Galaxy Note 10.1 isnot Charging

Hi guys,
I bought a galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition tablet two months ago. It was worked well. I forgot to charge it for two days and today the total charge went down to zero. I plugged the charger to the device using the default charger came with the device. But unfortunately it wasn't charging and its showing a icon of loading battery. But actually its not loading. It remains same for more than 3 hours. I'm confused and I don't know exactly what is the problem.
Can anyone please help me to solve this problem???

The "loading battery" means that it is shut down, and charging. If you boot it up you will see the percentage on the notification panel.

Like Moshe said, try booting up the tablet. It doesn't turn itself back on after a discharge.
