Galaxy Note 10.1 Pen Window popup problems

Hello. I have a Galaxy Note 101 2014 edition with a strange problem.

When I use the Pen Window to create small app windows, for many programs any popup menu appears to the side of the window, disconnected from the actual window. When I try to make a Chrome pen window, a second mirror of the browser window opens, with the image in the 2nd, but the controls in the first, like pen scrolling, making it an unusable situation for this task.

I have gotten the problem on the following apps:
YouTube
Contacts
Video browser
Internet
Chrome

The tablet is a new purchase, running Android 4.4.2, not routed.

Any thoughts?

My Note 10.1 2014 is on KK 4.4.4 and I don't see this problem. You might think about updating the OS. I believe all variants are upgradeable to LP 5.1.1 now, but not sure.
