Android Central Question

Using Galaxy Note 10+. Vids and pics gets blurry and reduced frame rate whenever i tried to send them via whatsapp, twitter, telegram etc.

Welcome to Android Central! How are you sharing the media? Are you starting from within the app (i.e., WhatsApp, Twitter, etc.), or within the gallery app (using the Share button)?

I have this issue too. The video quality is also sometimes bad in the gallery. I'll have a beautiful, clear colorful video clip and post it to Facebook, but it goes flat on color and fuzzy video quality. I'll post a screen shot of the gallery with 3 frames. First one is a picture. Nice bright and clear. Second is a video and you can see its all washed out in preview. If I watch it, it'll look fine. But if I post to Facebook then it will post with this poor preview quality. Final frame on the right is that same video shared to Google drive and then downloaded back to phone.

Same Here. In the gallery the videos and the photos looks really fine, but whenever i share them, it looks terrible. It happens on whats app and instagram stories.

As above. If you upload to social media their own processes will compress the media, often reducing quality. The thing to do is to share it to your drive (dropbox, google drive, onedrive) and then link it in social media sites to retain quality. The thing then is to be aware of filling up that online drive space or invalidating older links to make room for newer.

It's handy to know that if you have a family and have signed up for the 365 family package then each of the 5 users has 1TB of online storage built in.
