galaxy note 2 kitkat update problem

I have a SCH-I605 note 2. Ever since the kitkat update, my USB port on my phone has quit working. It still charges the phone, but my computer no longer sees my phone, nor does my phone say it is connected to the computer. Because of this, I can't even use KIES to back up my phone, or move pics from the phone to the computer (I need this for work!). I've tried rebooting the phone and computer...nothing... still the same. I've tried 4 different cables, still nothing...help!

Have you tried to go into developer options in your settings and disable USB debugging?

Yeah, usb debugging was enabled...

I've tried it enabled and disabled...no difference...the computer (and at this point I've tried several different ones running different versions of windows) does not see the phone...it will charge, but that is all....
