Galaxy Note 20 Series, via OnLeaks.

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

And a 16:9 screen ratio. I watch TV shows and they are almost always 16:9. I would never watch a movie on my phone.
I don't pay attention to the difference in screen ratios when watching something.

I like a full screen. The Note 20 will just have an extra 3mm of black bars. If you zoom of course you lose part of the picture. I'm just not a fan of phones shaped like rulers. Mind you I'll probably buy one anyway.

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

A "Lite" like that would make a good Enterprise phone to deploy at companies for users that could make use of the S-pen to sign docs or have their clients be able to sign docs or something. Cheaper than the + not needing the higher spec screen or camera. But honestly I don't think Samsung or Google/Android has been able to get a solid foothold in the Enterprise market over Apple. iPhones just make better work phones for mass deployment and support in my experience.

Of course there can be more than one. Not everyone wants to buy the top end with all the bells and whistles.

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

Since I would just be guessing, I'll give numbers for reference...

S20 Ultra... 220g

Note 10+... 196g

S20+ 186g...

Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max... 226g

I'll guess lighter than the S20 Ultra... no heavier... 210g :)

I knew the iPhone Pro Max was the heaviest of the bunch but honestly when I hold one it doesn't really feel it to me compared to the S20 Ultra. Feel in hand makes a difference in how the weight is carried and the thinner phone does it for me. I think I could have lived with the Ultra weight of the Ultra and didn't feel that bad in hand... but it is a chunky phone.

I care more about weight than "thinness". I actually prefer the dimensions of the Note 10plus but if the 20plus is lighter...

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

Haha, chances of an incentive are somewhere between zero and feck all for us Brits. .

My first phones didn't have contracts. Sim only with effectively PAYG. I used to spend more then than I do now due to working all over the world - bills were quite often in the several hundred ( don't know if you can remember but Cellnet had a VIP team if you spent so much...)

Back then my team had a Motorola Sat phone. $11 a minute in 1997!
OMG my first mobile phone in 1995 was on cellnet and was literally a brick phone. It was huge and heavy.

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

On my Note 8, I watch IPTV all the time and the bars don't bother me. I guess it would work out on the Note 20+ not having to have the notch in the way lol. Actually when I watched IPTV or most other videos, I use to pinch out to full screen the video. 99% of the time you don't miss what's lost at the edges when you do that. But lately I haven't cared either way. I'm the type of person that also wouldn't mind a slight forehead or chin on a phone if they would provide proper front firing speakers.

And it's for mobile viewing so I'm not going to be as critical as if I were watching it in living room on a proper screen.

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

I'm in the UK, but isn't Primeco tech one of the reason for having CDMA in the states rather than universal GSM?
Or I could be mistaken.

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

No such luck for Exynos feature-crippled International customers.

We're supposed to be getting a new 5nm Exynos 922 or is it called 992, anyway it was first rumoured as a 6nm and then it turned into a little more than just a rumour and also into 5nm with very superior GPU as well

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

here's my question though. I have a note 10 5g and absolutely love it. do you think it will be a worthy upgrade over the note 10 plus/5g?

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

Of course.

( maybe asking in the wrong place .)

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.

Idk how worth it will be. How much better can it get? Note 10 5g still a solid and awesome phone. Love mine.

Re: Galaxy Note 20+, via OnLeaks.
