Re: Note 3 Case Thread.
My local TMobile had no cases for the phone for the first couple of weeks. When they did get a few in, they still didn't have any of the S-Views, and thought that they'd probably never get any of the Samsung Wireless Charging covers.
They did have in stock the Tech21 Impact Herringbone case, which I thought would work out til more cases were available. It's got two problems going for it, that have made me not like using it. First, the case covers the volume and power buttons, making them pretty hard to press. Maybe it's just my case, maybe not. I'm tempted to try to carve off the plastic covering the buttons. Also, I bought an extra AmazonBasics usb 3.0 cable. With the stock Samsung cable, I don't have to remove the case, but the AmazonBasics plugin is too large for the opening in the case. If I dropped the phone on an edge, the case would probably protect it. It doesn't have anything covering the face, however.
What I have been looking for, is something like the Book Book from 12 South,
BookBook for iPhone 4/4s - BookBook for iPhone 4/4s - Twelve South but unfortunately they only make products for Apple stuff. The Book Book made it less obvious that I was carrying around a phone, gave it decent protection and let me carry cash and cards. I was able to find it at a Barnes and Noble at a sale price.
I did find something equivalent earlier this week, from Zenus.
Galaxy Note 3 - Smart Phone The styles won't be for everyone, but I did find one that I liked, and they sell them through Amazon as well, which is convenient to me.
