Galaxy Note 3 - Case & Covers Thread

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

Just got my Spigen Bounce in Gray the other day and loving it so far. The buttons are easy to press and it adds a little bit more bulk but definitely not too bulky. The phone is already big and I don't feel like it made it significantly bigger or anything. Very stylish and feels nice a protected. It probably doesn't offer the same protection as some other cases, but it's a nice compromise. It's pretty grippy and solid. I use to have a Incipio TPU case for my iPhone 4 and that felt a lot more rubbery and soft, this one is more firm and plastic feeling. I have the MIME Ghost coming in a few days and I should be set! I also have the Casecrown wallet case that I will try out and see if I would rather have a wallet type case since I find myself carrying the phone more than storing it in my pocket or bag.

I like that, and cheap is my middle name. :D However, after looking at it closer, it doesn't cover the sides.. I always carry my Note 3 in double casesd, and the base case must cover up the sides.. Just my two cents. .BTW, nice price on that, and for someone that are not into sides being covered, this would be nice..

The Bouce is great. It is slim, looks good, covers the sides and buttons, all for $10... I have the Bounce and I put the Note 3/Bounce in a wallet type case for super protection. Even though I am an older person, I carry some sort of bag with me all the time. The Note 3 is in the bag, double case. That works out well, since my main forms of transportation are a high speed sport motorcycle, and racing bicycles.. :D

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

I've been playing around pairing various BT keyboards to my GN3 but I don't want to always carry it around so being part of the case does not appeal (same reason I've never opted for a keyboard case for my iPad either).

I'm planning on selling my Apple BT keyboard (very nice but too big and the on/off button is terrible in a bag) and replacing it with this: Amazon.com : Anker? Ultra-Slim(4mm) Wireless Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard for iPhone 5 5S 5C, iPad Air / iPad Mini 2 / iPad Mini / New iPad 3 / iPad 2 / Nexus 7 / Galaxy Tab and Other Tablets - Ultra Thin Keyboard with Built-in lithium battery / Aluminum B

I ordered this folding bluetooth keyboard before I saw that case/keyboard combo: Amazon.com : Wireless Bluetooth Folding Keyboard - iPhone iPad (All), iPod Touch, Kindle Fire HD (All) Google Nexus, Samsung Galaxy, other Android Tablets 97537 Piano Black : Computer Keyboards : Computers & Accessories

It hasn't arrived yet so I can't say anything about it. I'll post my impressions once I've tested it out.

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

I just purchased the siedio surface case holster combo. I really enjoy it so far. I also have the otterbox defender and the case holster combo Verizon sells. The case feels fantastic and thinner than both of those cases. For 35.00 it's a excellent case. Oh and it has a built in kickstand.

Rockin my Note 3

Can anyone recommend a good leather Galaxy note 3 case. The only good looking one I've seen so far is from zenus but it's a bit pricey

The latter case/holster is the kind I've been using with my HTC Rezound for two years and it's been great. I couldn't find it anywhere when N3 first came out, but now I saw one that looked exactly like it on eBay for less that $12.

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

Is the leather quality good though being that cheap?

It's not leather... all the tpu/pu cases are lame leather imitations.

Not too much out there yet, in terms of good leather - I'm on a major quest for a good case myself.

One of my cases is the original Samsung s view - the leather quality is pretty good. From what I've heard, Tedded leather is pretty good, however at 47 euros I'm a little wary of ordering one... now waiting for a custom made leather pull tab pouch to arrive...

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

I bought and returned this case. It looks nice...but there were 3 things I didn't like about it. 1) it was very slippery; the phone always slipped out of my hand with this case. 2) the side buttons look good since they are chrome but they were constantly being hit when I had the phone in my pocket. 3) the case adds more bulk to the phone than you expect.

Re: Note 3 Case Thread.

I was wondering if owning 3 cases is too many? I want to keep all 3 of mine. Thinking maybe I should return 1 or none. Lol

Nah, I think the average poster in this thread has at least 3 cases.. :D I got the Casology case after you posted a picture. I am a sucker for cheap good looking cases!! :D
However, I put the Caseology on the shelf for the time being. It is a good looking case and all, but it does not cover the buttons..My Note 3 fell a couple times with the Caseology case, and luckly it didn't fall on get contact on one of the buttons. After those two falls, I went back to my Spigen Bounce case..It covers all the sides, and the buttons, it is slim, not slippery, and cheap.. $10

BTW, I think I got about 8 cases, maybe 9..As you know, the old man always carries his Note 3 double cased. This morning, it was in the trunk of my motorcycle. Very fast and bumpy ride. But, the double case was more than up to the task.. Cheap too. :D
