just the fact that i dont have to run around and download sms apps, calendar apps.. even keyboards... 2 years on the bionic has ruined me!! GN3 stock apps seem much improved from what im used to... and its running smooth like butter.. i was skeptical about samsung keyboard... one night in and i think i could use it

Yeah, the phone is not perfect but I think it's the best Samsung phone in years. They really got a lot of things correct this time.

I'm actually "considering" selling my ONE, and getting the Note 3! I'm hoping that my local AT&T store will have one on display for me to play around with.

Oh, they'll definitely have one on display that's "live". However, what makes you want to get rid of your ONE? It's quite a difference in size so you may have to get used to that. Pocketing it (if you're one that does that) will be a bit different.

I did this. I sold my HTC One and got the Note 3 and I have to say I don't regret it at all. Nothing against the one it's just the Note 3 is an amazing device :).

That is one world I've never adventured into as a tech guy... I've been through a bunch of phones but I've never owned a tablet yet.. :o.

Well I don't pocket my phones, I sweat too much and condensation, well you get the picture. As far as the size, well currently I find myself putting the iPad aside (while reading in bed) and using my ONE, so I'm figuring that Note 3 will be a great replacement for the iPad, as Android, has really got me spoiled rotten. What I'll probably do is just buy the Note 3 out right, and keep my ONE and use them side by side until I figure out which one is best for me.

I can't wait till the AT&T store opens, I'll be like Garfield in the window! :D

I have an iPad also and I barely use it since using the Note series phones. It's like a paperweight unless im on vacation and want something a little bigger to view. This phone is a awesome awesome device, couldn't be more happier.

Agreed, especially surprised by the keyboard. I used to swear by swype but I haven't felt the need to change it yet....

be careful though once you go note big you wont go back to smaller screens, at least in my case haha

I know exactly how you feel. I'm coming from two years on the bionic as Well. After using this phone for only 2 hours, the bionic feels like an Ipod nano.

If you're impressed with the keyboard, you should try the Swiftkey app. After using it for 24 hours I found myself nerd-giggling alone after it predicted entire sentences for me... Kind of nuts. And that's coming from iOS, which has a rather nice keyboard too.

I was hoping this thread was about a list of "little things" that I could learn about this thing..... sadpanda.jpg.

I do like the TV remote.....I can change the breakroom's TV and **** everyone off.... :D

Found some more "little things", the "page orientation" setting, if you're looking at the phone and tilt your head, the orientation changes from Portrait to Landscape or vice versa. Also in the same settings (display settings), you can use face recognition to scroll via glancing up or down. The "Pause when looking away" feature is also there. Oh and a co-worker looked at me weird when I was tilting my head while looking at my phone to test the page orientation setting....

I am one that does that (I will never trust holsters) and normal size pockets will be fine if you wear regular pants/slacks. Jeans, on the other hand, might be some roughness, especially if you get a walletcase.

Right now, I have this case (didn't buy from that dealer and curiously couldn't find this case on their website.) The Incipio case I would have used was warped on the upper left hand corner, but this is just temporary until I get my wallet case on Monday. It is very secure in my wallet and with the screen protector, I'm very secure in knowing that the screen will be safe. Even the Droid Maxx that I have with no screen protector has never got an issue, so I'm alright with that.

I just don't like holsters...lol.

A lot of people did get a black Note 3...lmao!! (yeah, me too...lol)

In terms of bigger screens, this is definitely correct. I look at the wife's S3, and I can't see myself using a phone that size as for movies and such. The Razr Maxx I have for work is the one that gets used for phone calls and when I need email. But once you go Note...all you will want to do is gloat!

I'm the opposite. I hate putting it in my pocket because I'm afraid when I go to sit down, the force applied from my thigh will bend the phone. In the past I've tried carrying other phones in my pocket, but I hate taking the device out each time I go to sit down.

I get that. I can't say that I've ever had a phone bend though. The Note 2 that I had was always in my pocket and the guy I sold it to was amazed at the condition the phone itself was. The back of the flip was somewhat scratched up (that was disclosed) but the original back cover was never used. Coupled with the flip always closed, and a screen protector that was never removed, if you replaced the flip cover with the original, took the screen protector off to put a new one on, the phone looked like it was brand new. Though it had a couple months of use (which was also disclosed.)

Yeah, I never had problems with pockets, and I'm 5'10" 265lbs. (give or take.)
