GALAXY NOTE 3 Keeps restarting.

It sounds like a battery problem. Maybe the update caused the processor to choke up and the battery kept getting too hot. Either that or you may just need to replace your battery.

JB on verizon, still random reboots - last one was yesterday. I did happen to notice that my screen brightness had become unchecked (auto setting).. Not sure what's causing it and so far it didn't bother me (but if it happens during a call, I'm sure it will)..

Mainboard is probably going to be replaced. They say, that update to KitKat could have screwed the ROM...

Well, no mobo has been changed. They have just flashed pure rom and restored factory settings. I have now 4.4.2 and so far no restarts.
I will post update in a day or two. If no restart will happen, I'll be able to say, it's cured.

And it restarts again. About once a day.
For the moment I thought that turning auto brightness off is the key. Still, you can try doing this.

Glad to know I'm not alone. I had my Galaxy Note 3 since October 2013. Started having the rebooting issue in Feb 2014. Recently had the device replaced through vzw, to a refurbished version, but still experience the daytime reboots. Thought it was due to the lack of signal at my job, but apparently it is commonplace with this device at the moment.

Now again, I have up to 5 restarts per day

I have experienced the exact same effects :/ Had an update around February time and now it crashes randomly and recursively restarts. It's putting me off getting an samsung android phone again :/

Seems it's KitKat fault, not exactly Samsung's. What scares me, is that although 4.4.3, which should fix the problem, is around the corner, we will have to wait for Samsung to put together its version.
I waited once for Motorola to do this... for a year!

I hade the same, but mine stopped doing that when I just removed the SD card. Without it no problem at all, you should give it a try

I begin to think there is no workaround for that. Just have to wait for KK 4.4.3 and keep fingers crossed it will help. Sad!

Same thing is happening to me. I can't even get to the home screen. It just keeps restarting, and I can't power off my phone. The only way to get it to stop is to remove the battery. I tried removing SD and SIM card, and I still have the same problem.
