For some reason I think Samsung intends this to be for new Samsung customers or an upgrade for those who still have the Note 5 or S6 and maybe S7 series. Most people aren't upgrading every 6 months and the average is still at a little under 2 years.

I ordered the cheapest one. If it doesn't arrive or doesn't fit, I have Paypal protection. But I wanted to see how the actual size will feel in my hands. It will ship in 2 weeks.

Yes. I love the UAG case. Got the blue one on my note 5. Light weight. I lmao at it the other day cause I dropped my note 5 on the side and it just bounced til it landed on it back

I agree. Besides the spen and dual camera I don't see the need to get it since I already got S8 Plus. Might pickup the Tab s3 to get the spen then.

You do realize that these are case renders, right? That's why the camera area is recessed.

Why the cheapest one? If I was ordering the Note 8 I would have wanted to decide between, Otterbox, Mophie or an I-blades. I look even on expanding the phone, not trying to squeeze some buck while having the best phone in the world. The best phone deserves the best protection.

I think they should've made the screen flat. But Samsung is not turning back this time. Using the S Pen with the curved glass will be annoying.

I think getting a cover is a good idea. Not only can you see how it will fit in your hand, but you won't be posting "dropped my brand new phone minutes after buying, just outside the store and it's shattered".

I'm going to have to see what's available. Cases at phone stores are expensive and I never find Note cases at Wal-Mart.

They're not turning back because this is their design, love it or hate it

It helps them stand out from the others, despite some of the annoyances of a curved screen.
