Galaxy note 8 Fingerprint sensor problems

[Android Central Question]

Someone said "..deactivate pattern lockscreen then fingerprint lock will work again".
Load of rubbish.
I deactivated my pattern for my lockscreen & now i can not change lockscreen types what so ever now

Pattern I don't recommend , as it can lick you out your phone and end up factory reset.

Try safe mode if you can change the lock screen option in settings , if not unfortunately a factory reset .
