galaxy note 8 wallpaper scrolling

When I change my wallpaper wether it be theough app or through just the gallery, it changes just fine but then stops working and all I have to do is hit the sleep button and it makes it work again. Any ideas why?

I once experienced the same thing in my Note8, didn't know exactly what happened but a device restart clears the problem.
