Ahh okay got it. I just came from the Apple world with my transition to the (amazing) Samsung Note 3.. Apple usually releases their release date at their big conference so I'm not quite used to how Samsung does it yet.. I'll wait patiently

Apple does it once a year, Android OEMs usually have their own conferences and attend things like CES throughout the year

Okay great I was going to buy the 2014 note so I have $599 to spare so if its a little over that then I'm okay I was just hoping Samsung wouldn't overprice their device again.

$749 sounds about right considering the Note 10.1 was about $649..

Well they did mention Q1 as the availability date, the tablets themselves are finalized looks like the software is not far off either. I am hoping they give an actual date in the next few weeks.
