Galaxy Note to Sprint soonish?

Hey there All,

My wife happened to be playing poker with the owner of several Sprint stores in our area and he was apparently quite confident that the Note would be coming to Sprint sometime in March. Whether he meant announcing in March or available she wasn't sure.

I'm hopeful but taking it with a grain of salt since poker players are known liars

Anyone else hear anything regarding the Note on Sprint?

That would be awesome. I wouls switc from HTC phones for this one. Although my upgrade is not till October, so I have to wait and see what comes out.

I just saw something on this galaxy note, and it looks pretty sweet. My contract is up in November so I am starting to save up for a high end phone this time around (I plan on spending @ $200 to $300), I was thinking the galaxy s 2 was going to be the phone until I saw the galaxy note.

The problem is by November the quad core phones will be out and the Note will look old. There is ALWAYS going to be the "next" big thing coming around the corner. There always is in the smartphone world.

I was told the same thing when I got my SGSIIE4GT 2 weeks ago. I couldn't get a definitive date but whenever it does hit, I'll be there that day before the store opens.

That's the prob. you get the latest top of the line phone, month l8er it is no longer the greatest.

That's with anything. Phones, cars, you name it; there's always something newer, better, faster...etc on the horizon.

I was also told the note would be coming soon at the store yesterday, we'll see what soon means ha. I wouldn't be surprised if we get the note though.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. I think they may have confused the Galaxy Note with Galaxy Nexus that IS coming to Sprint

Yeah, that happens a lot. My wife was considering getting one because it had the keyboard, then a lil' research and I said don't waste your time. It isn't bad, but it isn't supported well and is a bit long in the tooth.

While these AMOLED screens on the new devices are pretty, in the sunlight they don't cut the mustard for my purposes.

Sprint may get a version of the Note, but I'd at least hope it has LTE instead of WiMax.
