galaxy s10+ and windows live email

in receipt of an unlocked galaxy s10+ but unable to sync a windows live email account using the Samsung email app ver 6.0.01.11. the "larger" issue is the inability sync tasks/events to the Samsung calendar.

any thoughts/tips?
