I have been having some thoughts for awhile on purchasing the S10 but I'm not entirely sure whether I should go towards the S10 or the S10e. Everything screams at me S10e, but obviously would be taking a hit with the screen resolution. Not that the S10e looks bad or anything, but IMO the screen on the regular s10 is so much better. Yes I can tell a difference. Especially coming from my LG V30 which has a really colorful, sharp, saturated screen. I watch a lot of videos so that's why I'm slightly hesitant. That and the battery life.

Paying almost 800 dollars for a device... For that price I would like to have a quad HD display IMO. What do you guys think? Also is it just me or is the S10 speaker setup louder than the S10e?

You shouldn't pay full price for either at this point.

Here's the thing, you watch a lot of videos, how many of them are actually above 1080p? Unless you're going back and forth between two devices with drastically different screens, you won't notice it's worse after a couple of weeks.

I have the S10e. It's not a better phone on paper, but to me it's a better phone than the S10.

I'm on T-Mobile and they don't really give discounts or compete with other carriers pricing. I could purchase directly from Samsung for unlocked but I've considered if I have any issues and have to return said device. I've heard lots of horror stories about what a hassle it is. Technically not that many above 1080p. But it's nice to have the option at least. How do you do with your S10e battery-wise? Samsung doesn't have a good track record with battery life IMO. Always had an issue with that. But given it's not as high of a resolution screen... it might be better.
