Galaxy S2 email issue

Since the JB update, my phone no longer automatically 'looks' for new emails. I have the default to check every 4 hrs, as I did under ICS but I have to now manually refresh to see new emails arriving. I also know someone else who has a different Galaxy phone running JB but mail also through Yahoo and he has the same issue. I assume its Yahoo but they claim no issue. Anybody have any insight into this? Thanks

Yup another one here. Both myself and my wife have updated our phones to jelly bean. Both have lost email notifications, despite deleting and reinstalling these account. Ours are with what was sky email. Very frustrating.
