I am overseas in Bahrain, and I only have Wifi as a way to utilize my phone. It is my alarm clock too. But, it has to keep time via me ensuring the phone is manually programmed to time and date, especially after being turned off and on. Its a Sprint phone, so no sim card, network etc.
Is there an app that actually works on this system, 4.1.2 that will ensure time is kept when on the Wifi service?

Welcome to Android Central! You might be stuck. Android phones use the cell signal to automatically determine your time zone, not wi-fi or GPS. I think iPhones can use wi-fi or GPS, so that's one of their advantages.

And since the clocks in an Android phone are synced about every second, they're not very stable when running freely. 1 second error every minute is nothing if it's corrected every second, but 1 second every minute running freely is a lot of error.
