Galaxy S20 Ultra camera comparison vs Iphone 11 Pro

My personal experience with the iPhone x is indoor shots not good , out door really good , still with my Note 10+/pixel 4xl/iPhone x /1+7P blur happens with moving stuff , pixel 4 xl does the best out of them with moving but still happens.

I should have pointed out my experience with the iPhone X was incredibly limited...just a few shots when my mother was visiting. So it's hard to truly make any definitive comparisons. It does seem it's incredibly common to read that Pixels do a better job, though. Obviously as you allude to, enough movement will cause blur, but it does seem there is a lower threshold with Samsungs at this point. But again, I do feel it's been better when using the gcam. Outside of indoor shots of the kids, I just use the native app and am happy with the results.

I dont have any issues with Pixel, does faces and moving subjects just fine. My Note 10 cant take a single shot. And with kids manual mode is not that beneficial
I Never mess with manual mode on the Note 10

Slightly ...

I’ve had significant experience with the 11 Pro Max, Pixel 4 XL and Note 10+ and the iPhone and Pixel give better results more often than the Samsung with kids and animals in low light. But none are garbage, just processed differently.

Especially the iphone 11 pro max which is way better then my iPhone x in less lighting

I’m not Ansel Adams but I’m definitely not seeing anything with his results in the video that blow the iPhone out of the water. Those photos were nice but they weren’t as sharp as he was making them out to be. It’s a huge improvement from lowlight with previous Samsung’s but it’s not enough to convince me it’s better than the iPhone 11 Pro Max or Pixel yet. I need to see more evidence it’s as good as he states as I’ve seen several examples of typical Samsung results with out of focus/soft details.

I would have gone with Oleksandr Rupeta.....just to make people Google him.

I think all of the anxiety over the S20 cameras is so over dramatic. Everything I've seen looks promising, but there just no way to know for sure without some time handling them. You Tube videos are fun, but not definitive.

But I feel like people are looking for things to be negative about. "Omg, look at that blur in the corner, the entire camera system is a failure"! "Every photo better be stunning and perfect or else"!

Spot on

Besides, I've come to the conclusion that in a lot of the videos they show us want they us to see we and not neccesarily because they have an agenda. We, the people, are the best reviewers.

You are right... Everyone has their own set of rules they live by and there's only one way to get a true perspective as to whether something lives up to them. Buy it and try it for yourselves.

Or just hold out for a month or two until you have plenty of feedback from people you trust as folks start getting their units in a few weeks.

The phones aren't going anywhere, and you might even get a good deal. But passing neuroses throughout every thread before the phone is even released is depressing to constantly read. lol

Agree 100%. Anything to help them justify not getting the phone lol. Seems like Samsung did a great job accessing the major complaints people had with a Samsung flagship. We will start to know more as the month comes to end, but I'm really impressed with the things I'm seeing so far.

I think they probably get camera of the year this year and I see why not they put lot more effort into it this year and results I'm seeing online looking pretty good .

Holding out haahaha. Now you're thinking sensibly in a world where the driving force is "new-n-shiny". Simply ain't gonna happen.

It's been playing out this way for years so unlikely to change any time soon... People for, people against. Thing is, if ya ain't first then you are last simple as that.

"OPINIONS" keep it interesting. Be pretty boring if these forum threads were always one-sided. And I'm assuming it's the same reason people seek out reviews, they want a different opinion that may or may not be in favor of a product. So as you stated "anything to help them justify not getting the phone", well the same can be said for those trying to justify their purchase.

Well yeah this happens every release cycle so I get it. It's alot of money and so people want guarantees that they are going to be satisfied in every way.

But people have to know by now, that if you're an early adopter, you have to roll the dice. You Tube and forums will only get you so far 😂

People want justification and reassurance for their opinions, that’s why we get a lot of these posts. Which makes sense when we are shelling out $800-1400 for a phone. Now If we did wait a week we could most likely get a better deal. Then we will see the wave of early adopters mad they spent more for the phone. I love the forum but it’s cyclical for all releases. That and the battery screenshot posts. It’s all part of the game. It’s a cool phone, I am just waiting to see if we get more shots that look more detailed with fur and hair so family and animal shots don’t look like oil paintings. I love Samsung phones so I hope this is the case.
