Galaxy S3 and Odin (Download) mode

Let's say your cellphone has the latest 4.3 Android ...

While in Download mode, some cells will show:
KNOX WARRANTY: 0x1

and others will show:
Warranty bit: 1

What's the difference between these?
Is the second version safe to revert back to a pre 4.3 stock via Odin?

First should mean the Knox warranty counter has been tripped. As far as I know there is no way to revert that back to 0. There is essentially the flash count as part of Googles ROM and Samsungs version which is Knox.
As far as I know, once you switch to 4.3, there is no reverting back.

Using Odin to try to revert a phone which has the Knox-enabled bootloader (either via the OTA, via Kies, or the "official" update zip posted on XDA) will hard brick your phone. Don't do it.

What I took to be the important part of your post was whether you could use Odin to revert to stock. The answer is "No," unless you like expensive door stops.

I thought I was pretty clear. If you have the stock 4.3 bootloader, you cannot use Odin to revert. Period. No matter what the warranty bit says, Installing an earlier kernel than 4.3 will brick your phone. It has nothing to do with the warranty bit, whether you're rooted, or anything else. Knox will not permit you to overwrite it with a non-Knox kernel.

How can you tell if you are on the 4.3 bootloader.
I am still able to load custom recoveries like twrp and CWM
but i get the Red Idin Message and the Waranty bit 1 message when i try to flash via odin.... I think though i was trying to flash stock mke firmware.
