Galaxy S3 connects to Wi-Fi but no internet
I have a modem and a main router (wifi 802.11g) upstairs and a secondary router, set up as access point downstairs (wifi 802.11n, connected to the main router via ethernet cable). I use both a notebook and a samsung galaxy s3 downstairs.
I have no issue whatsoever with the notebook, it connects fine, via wifi, to the network, and always has internet access.
The S3, however, frequently connects to the wifi but doesn't get internet access. There is no warning on the s3, the IP address is correct, I can ping it, but the apps and browser don't access the internet. I don't get this issue on the upstairs g network.
Usually, but not always, reseting the router fixes the problem, but I tired of doing that all the time. Since that's never happened with the notebook, or with anybody who visited my home and connected their smartphones or PCs to the downstairs network, it's got be an issue with my galaxy s3.
Everything is up to date, the android version on the s3 and the firmware on the routers.
Any help is appreciated,
