So I've had my GS3(ATT) for over a year now, and I've had Cyanogenmod for a few months. I've been running CM 10.1.2, which is stable. Well today and yesterday it has been crashing a lot, completely randomly. It just shuts off. I try to turn it back on and it takes a really long time, a lot of the time it shows the Samsung logo and then shuts off, and then I have to turn it on again, rinse and repeat until it finally turns on, and then turns off again. It's also very glitchy when it's on, which has never happened previously. At first I tried upgrading it to 10.1.3 to see if that would do anything, but it didn't. I tried putting it into recovery (I have CWM) to try and do a factory reset, but it takes over and randomly proceeds through an option, and I don't have enough time to navigate recovery before it reboots itself. I tried to put it into download so I could wipe it with Odin, but it just shuts off randomly. I have had it turned off for hours at a time, yesterday it was off overnight. Is there any way to fix it?

I am wondering if it isn't the ROM, but the battery? Is the battery swollen, corroded pins, etc?

Managed to restore it to a few months back, then I did a factory reset. So far it's been all good but I think I'm gonna do a full format just to be safe.

Hope it works out.
