I'm not sure if anyone else has encountered this problem on S3 i9300, but I have seen similar threads all over the Internet so I suppose this is not a random error or bug or whatsoever.
Every time I try to launch Contacts/Phone, the phone freezes and the application crashes after a few seconds, with the warning message like "Unfortunately Contacts has stopped".
I have tried a few methods suggested on the Internet.
I have tried to clear the data and cache for both applications.
I have tried to change the time format and date of the device.
I have tried to unlink the device from any sync account.
I have tried to do a factory reset.
However, none of the above could solve the problem. I still could not gain access to Contacts/Phone. :'(
Do anybody know what could be the reasons and solutions?
