Works on Android 4.2.2. Some people just don't know how to follow instructions...c'est la vie (such is life).

We never mentioned 4.2.2. That would be a custom ROM. Maybe it works on that but it certainly does not work on the current stock ROM 4.1.2 (on the Sprint S3), directions or not...without downgrading.

I have a sprint samsung galaxy s3 and I was gonna get it flashed to another carrier, I bought the phone off craigs list and dnt have the account holders info. The other carrier told me to get the msl, so I called sprint and they wouldn't give it to me, I've tried every thing (mymsl, terminal emmulator) and nothing worked. I know the phone has a clean esn and all just dnt understand why I can't. Get the msl. I have the imei and meid if anyone could help.

If anybody could help it will be greatly appreciated. Its running 4.3 also

You can use SPCUtility to get your MSL. I got it from the post HERE.

I've attached the SPCUtility.apk and it will give you your MSL/SPC without a doubt. I've used it 100 times and it's always worked but of course you must have root. Install it, click read MSL/SPC and within a 1/2 second you will have it. Yeah you right.

If you navigate to wherever you downloaded it (on my phone it downloaded to /storage/emulated/0/Download) and select it, you should receive a prompt to install it

Once you've installed it you can open it and follow the instructions

I tried the get my male app, and tried the ##3262# and the went to edit and then did the 222222 and it gives me a message stated that I could not get property til.msl

Settings / More / Security, check "Unknown sources." After installing the app, I'd suggest going back and unchecking that option.

Dudette! Which 'you' are you referring to? It's considered polite to quote the specific post that you want help with.

Also, 'still nothing' doesn't tell us much:
- were you able to download the app?
- did the app install correctly?
- is the app showing any information?
- exactly what step are you stuck on?

Hey guys,

Sorry to beat a dead thread, but I'm running 4.4.2 rooted on my L710T. I'm trying to figure out what my issue is. I'm trying to get my MSL to get into the programming to make some changes, but having no luck with this apk. What's odd is I recently had 5.0.2 aosp running on this phone with the typical camera and rotation issues seen, but this apk worked great.

Symptoms here.. I've installed the app, rebooted, loaded it up, as soon as you press execute, the actual process com.android.phone crashes. Likewise, even if I had the MSL, entering ##3282# (##DATA#) Nothing happens. The particular ROM I'm running is Conquest Singularity and it appears I've got a stock AOSP phone app, not the touchwiz app and I believe this may be causing the issue? I'm really at a loss. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Much appreciate any replies!
