Galaxy S3 or keep GNex?

The S3 will be a fantastic phone but I love the GNEX form better and I've had very little issues with it.

I don't see a compelling reason to change and I don't like the physical button it has.

I'm going to have to buy an S3 anyway (I make cell cases) but I imagine I won't even activate it and just sell it in a month.

If the reviews are terrific about the S3 then I can sell the GNEX instead.

It is alot cheaper to just contact Samsung they can send you a dummy casing so you can make a case instead of buying a new fully working device. There is even 3rd party companies that deal in whole sets of dummy cases used by dealers to sell the devices.

It really depends what your daughter wants. The Galaxy s3's specifications are slightly better than the Galaxy Nexus in most areas, so if your daughter wants that, you should give her a new galaxy s3. However, the Galaxy Nexus is a pure google phone if you have the gsm version and will be one of the first phones to receive the jellybean 5.0 upgrade. In short, it depends what your daughter wants, though the Galaxy S3 would be what most people choose.

Samsung doesnt offer any. I don't know where to find dummy casing elsewhere. It has to be the exact same dimensions.

The galaxy s3 has the s voice on it you might want to have that. You give it to your daughter and see that see has it you might get jealous

Actually, the screen is almost identical in size and same technology. The camera is a nice upgrade as well. If I were to justify buying one, I would say that the processing power is a big plus, along with the 2gb of RAM. Personally, I want quad core and better screen technology to justify an upgrade, along with the other updates on this phone.

I've read somewhere that the S3 doesn't have the graininess when displaying whites on low brightness, or the grey-purple hue issue. It has about the same size and tech, but I believe it has been improved upon from the gnex.

The camera!! Worthy justification alone!
The battery too, it seems most people have been able to get at least a day of usage. I'm lucky to get 6 hours if I use my gnex at all.

If you want mostly stock ics just get apex launcher and cm9 should come out soon for it so cm9 + apex woooooooo nelley you got yourself some stock ics

I get easily 12 hours on my extended 2100 gnex battery.

Love the screen.

Don't care for voice apps or motion stuff - I have screeble.

I don't think that there are any reviews of the verizon galaxy s3 yet, so it is difficult to say what kind of battery life folks will get.
In any case, I'm sticking with the g-nex. The S3 isn't a big enough of an upgrade in my opinion.
