I'm finding it annoying that the stock browser on my Galaxy S4 is storing previously visited urls in my address bar and suggesting them when I start typing a new address. I see an option under Privacy settings for 'Search and URL suggestions - Use a prediction service to display related queries and popular websites in the address bar as you type', which I have unchecked. I also unchecked 'remember form data'.

I don't like the browser to suggest anything, anywhere, but particularly, I don't want it suggesting urls. How the #$%$ do I turn it off?

I'm also unable to get google to stop using instant results. I looked all over and I can't locate an option to check to disable it.

I'd really appreciate a lead on either of those topics.

Thanks!

Not sure how you turn it off completely but if the url is in the bar above the keypad you can press and hold it for a couple seconds and a message will come up to delete the "Learned Word". (note I have a Verizon phone but likely the same).
